I'm a Sr. User Experience Designer at KPCC, the largest NPR station in Southern California. When it comes to big ideas and tiny details, I don't play favorites.
I lead the design and development of all of digital products for KPCC, Southern California's largest public radio station.
I led a team of 3 UI designers performing web application UI design, front-end engineering, and CMS administration/web site design. I was responsible for the usability of all UCR Student Affairs web applications-- I led the prototyping and design of critical software projects, and guided and mentored junior UI designers to write high-quality front-end code and design elegant solutions for our users.
I directed an organization of 18 staff providing technology support to the Student Affairs Division’s 800 employees and 20,000 UCR students. We provided services in the areas of consulting, project management, requirement analysis, specification creation, UI design, and application development. I was also responsible for the management of the division’s server infrastructure, vendor applications, web sites, web applications, and desktop support.
