Simon studies Computer Science at Carleton University in Ottawa. During his first summer, he was hired as an undergraduate researcher where he developed and analyzed a Persistent Skip List, a novel data structure for performing point set queries in 2 dimensions.

I developed software solutions for SAIT's School of Construction help desk. Primarily, I built internal, web-based tools to help PC Support Specialists respond efficiently to support tickets and maintain our high quality of service. The tools which I built increased productivity and earned my department a reputation for excellent support.
