As part of the web development team, I design and improve user interfaces for the company's various ecommerce sites and blogs. My tasks range from color scheme choices, HTML and CSS coding, and Wordpress configuration through JQuery scripting and PHP editing.
I am available for for front-end web design and development as well as print design and production.
This position centered around the set-up and “fit and finish” of Drupal-powered websites for a variety of clients.
Tasks included CSS coding, Drupal template page creation, module installation and configuration, and PHP coding tweaks. I also assisted in photo optimization and organization of general site creation tasks for projects at various stages of completion.
In this position, I oversaw the North East Regional Print Production Studio, consisting of a small, dedicated team of production artists.
Precise attention to detail was of paramount importance in this position, as was strict adherence to tight deadlines while maintaining client satisfaction.
My main responsibility at this community newspaper group was to maintain ad copy and production deadlines for 19 weekly publications.
In addition to my managing duties, I was also often called upon to create on-the-spot fill ads, as well as design in-house circulation promotional materials including ads, drop box signs and direct mail pieces.
